FAQ's

How can I change the silicone sealant strip in my bathroom?

To guarantee optimal results when replacing sealant, it is important to remove the existing silicone and clean the area thoroughly. To do this, we recommend the application of a thick layer of Professional Silicone Remover on the sealant strip you wish to remove and leaving it to work for around 30 minutes. After this time is up, scrape with a spatula and remove excess material with absorbent paper until the area is dry. We would remind that, before applying the new sealant, you should clean the area with Mould Remover

Why is it that instant drain unblockers on the market work so quickly?

These drain cleaners contain sulphuric acid, which can dissolve blockages but can also seriously damage pipes or harm you if they come into contact with your skin or mucous membranes. To avoid these problems, we have created our Professional Unblocking Gel which, with its caustic soda-based formula, completely unblocks your drains and prevents subsequent blockages without harming your pipes.

How can I remove adhesive stains without damaging a surface?

You can remove any adhesive remains from almost any surface with our Professional Adhesive Remover. However, to be absolutely sure, we recommend that you carry out a small test on an out-of-sight area to check that it does not harm the surface in question.

What can I do to restore my tropical wood table to its original colour?

Over the course of time, it is normal for furniture exposed to cold, UV rays, damp, rain or wind to deteriorate rapidly. To restore teak, ipê and iroko woods to their original colours, we recommend that you apply our Teak and Hardwood Furniture Restorer. This product, rich in natural waxes and Tung oil, is rapidly absorbed by the wood and forms a protective layer that is highly weather-resistant.

How can I remove the white marks on outdoor paving?

Simply apply the Powerful Terracotta and Porous Floor Cleaner to remove both organic (oils, waxes, grease, etc.) and inorganic dirt (salts, limescale, etc.).

How can I tell if my floor is porous?

Porous floors absorb liquids easily. To check your floor, let a drop of water fall on it. If the drop disappears after a few seconds, the flooring is porous. If the drop remains on the surface, it is non-porous.

How can I remove cement or saltpetre stains?

To dissolve those typical stains left over after building works, all you have to do is use on the affected area our Terracotta and Porous Flooring Cement Remover or our Marble and Indoor Flooring Cement Remover, depending upon the type of surface you want to clean.

How can I restore a parquet floor’s shine?

Lastly, Step 3 involves using our Parquet and Varnished Wood Polishing Cleaner to maintain the wood’s colour and shine.

When I wax my floor, why are some parts bright and others darker?
